Job Description
- Participate in Business Requirements and Functional Requirements meetings, identify gaps in requirements and drive discussion around appropriate solutions;
- Design and develop PL / SQL procedures / ETL jobs with optimized processing time;
- Do data mining & analysis;
- Create Technical Design Specification documentation that clearly articulates the design and code being implemented;
- Communicate design, requirements, feature set, functionality, usability and limitations of subsystem to team and/or development lead or manager;
- Conduct thorough unit testing of code and document the unit test cases;
- Provide support as needed throughout the Test and User Acceptance Testing phases.
Job Requirement
- Have experience in building a data warehouse, tables, MS SQL, Oracle SQL;
- Degree in MIS/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline;
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau);
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
